Michael Robinson to Present at Virginia CLE’s 17th Annual DUI and Serious Traffic Seminar

Attorney Michael Robinson of Robinson Law, PLLC will once again serve as a faculty member for Virginia CLE’s 17th Annual Handling DUI and Serious Traffic Cases in Virginia 2026, taking place on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The full-day program is scheduled from 8:20 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be available live on site as well as through webcast and telephone attendance options. The seminar offers 6.0 hours of live MCLE credit, including 1.0 hour of ethics credit, along with 6.0 hours of VIDC misdemeanor/felony recertification credit.
Robinson will open the seminar alongside Hon. Susan Friedlander Earman of the Fairfax County General District Court, helping attorneys review important 2026 legislative developments and case law updates affecting DUI and serious traffic cases in Virginia.
Designed for both newer and experienced attorneys, the program addresses a broad range of issues that arise in DUI and serious traffic defense. Topics include current practices in DUI cases, procedural differences across Virginia, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration protocols for field sobriety and impairment testing, prosecutors’ and law enforcement officers’ obligations to disclose material exculpatory evidence, constitutional issues involving stops, arrests and searches, recent court and legislative developments, and strategies attorneys can consider throughout the course of client representation.
Robinson joins a faculty that includes judges and attorneys from throughout Virginia, including Judge Earman, Hon. Peter Eliades, Hon. William Fitzpatrick, Hon. Michael Joseph Holleran, Hon. Jacqueline F. Ward Talevi, and several experienced Virginia attorneys.
Robinson has participated in the program previously and will be teaching the class again this year. Through programs such as this Virginia CLE seminar, he continues to contribute to the professional education of attorneys handling DUI and serious traffic matters throughout the Commonwealth.
